Surprise Boxes

Acting Our Age created Surprise Boxes in response to restrictions to our in-person work brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Developed as an engagement tool to be shared by a caregiver and a single recipient, our Surprise Boxes use a theme to explore Storytelling, Arts & Crafts, Music & Dance and Sensory engagement. Each box might include photographs/images, letters/postcards, intriguing sensory objects, poems or stories to share, and elements for a simple craft project. Additionally we provide a caregiver instruction card with prompts and links to music and video playlists. Click below to explore the contents of each Surprise Box.
